Hi, let's perhaps start first with the full specifications Jingsha x99 dual x99 s8 bios version BQ36000E Gigabyte Rtx 2060 Super (6+8pin + USB C version) Delta gps-1000ab ONLY 4+2x4 pin cpu 2x Xeon e5 2630v4 - same steppings, micro codes etc (+ 1x Xeon e5 2630v3) Ram 2x Goodram irdm X 3200mhz 8gb Without disks etc for testing (Crusial BX500 480gb GPT) Something about motherboard With single cpu setup, only with CPU 1 Socket For one/two cpu's power must be connected for all 8pin connectors Chipset C612 (i think) So yes, the problem is that when I try to use two cpu (2630 v4) every time I get error 79 (CSM initialization) and nothing else happens, I tried different arrangements of the ram in the slots, I tried to disable CSM in the bios, clean everything, I tested with the graphics card, without, however that it did not do anything two people told me that I need to have ecc memory, I do not know how much truth there is in this, if this is true then what kind of memory I need ? ( both were about V4, however that I do not know how it is with V3) UDIMM unbuffered buffered REG NON-REG etc ??? The board uses one CPU and DDR4 RAM without ECC, but it seems the slots aren't functioning properly. After attempting to run two CPUs, I had to physically interact with the system to use dual RAM sticks.
I rely on Xeons for all my personal setups and use only ECC RAM. Checking the specs for ECC support on those salvage boards makes sense, but I suspect dual configuration would require ECC. Are you confident each Xeon core is functioning properly?
