It really doesn’t matter much. They might file lawsuits for any amount they desire; the fact that the jury decides whether to award it or not is still uncertain. EDIT: According to the Kotaku piece, I actually burst into laughter.

It could miss the courtroom entirely. A judge will have to hear it, and right now no one has a lawyer. They were seeking contributions to support their legal efforts.

Honestly, I didn’t take the time to read the article once I noticed Kotaku Australia loading. I just wish someone wouldn’t waste their time on the lawsuit.

Jim's defense attorney needs to highlight DigitalHomicide's misleading DMCA statements and the sale of pre-built Unity templates from the asset store, as well as the use of copyrighted textures from Google Images for their models (search results are helpful). Jim is bringing these points up in his videos.
