I haven’t located the clip where Jake set up a router using Tomato (or Fresh Tomato). Could you clarify whether it was from the main or side channel? Also, let me know if you need help finding it again.

Not seeing anything either. What exactly do you need the video for? Perhaps we can help with that instead.

I appreciate your willingness to assist. My main aim is to stop relying on the Bell internet Home Hub 3000 modem/router box. Instead, I plan to use only my personal ASUS router with updated firmware. I still need wireless TV receivers, which is fine. My reasons for moving away from that equipment are two: first, the Home Hub 3000 has failed twice and I don’t want to replace it again; second, Bell doesn’t support putting the Home Hub 3000 in bridge mode (needed for VPN setups like DDNS on my personal router). I understand this is mentioned in some networking discussions, but the details are unclear enough for someone new to follow. So far I’ve updated my router firmware with Fresh Tomato and it’s running smoothly (referencing Jake’s guide). I also purchased a SFP-to-RJ45 Fiber Media Converter so the fiber line connects to my router. In short, internet is working. The main issue remains the IPTV signal—sometimes it shows briefly but then drops. I’m open to sharing more forum links if that would help. Thank you!
