So I have posted about 3 times about it’s build. I have tried everything. New psu, new cables, tested the gpu, new motherboard, moved the ram around. I just got a new mobo after assuming the old one was dead. Because NOTHING WORKED. And now, with the new mobo it’s still doesn’t work. I need a guardian angel to guide me through these hard times. specs and description time. cpu 7800x3d gpu msi 3090 ram: 32gb 6000mhz Mobo: Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2 Description the ram gpu and cpu are installed and plugged into the psu(test bench esk). when I power the pc on by shorting the front panel connectors the gpu fans spin for a sec then stop, and the ram leds turn on (they don’t turn off until I switch the psu off) there is no bios screen or any display signal. What are my options here guys please help me. if I’m missing anything please ask I’ll respond with as much detail as possible

The system operates without the GPU when connected via the integrated graphics. Ensure the BIOS was updated to a version compatible with the 7800X3D.

The mainboard lights up. You've already tried powering it without the GPU and left it on for over ten minutes. Also, check if the mainboard shows any boot, CPU, GPU, or RAM error lights—if present, they may be cycling or have one or two solid red indicators.

I connected the monitor to the GPU thinking it wouldn't support IGPU, but I'm testing it now. I'll check the BIOS update later. Thanks for keeping me updated!

It seems there are no extra boot lights besides the RAM, and I’m concerned the CPU might be active while the AIO isn’t running.

basic setup should send: CPU without cooler, RAM not NVMe or SSD, no GPU plug, only HDMI/DP to motherboard. Start the device and feel if CPU gets hot. If not: verify CPU power cables. Ensure they match your GPU ones! Inspect motherboard pins carefully. Use a rubber eraser to clean CPU contacts gently—don’t apply too much pressure. If CPU still heats up but no response (wait at least 5 minutes for RAM check), remove RAM, clear CMOS, replace with another RAM. Clean contacts again with rubber eraser and reinsert.

when I troubleshoot the cpu, I would even turn it on without an air cooler or the cpu block of aio, just to see if the cpu is heating up(working). I would probably do what @cekcons said. Which is basic troubleshoot, chances are, you are probably being impatient and immediately turns off the pc or reset it. It might be doing memory training. So for first boot, I believe the advice was that it could take even up to 15mins. Reassured that the cpu won't heat up to 105c with just that. So I would suggest to turn it on and leave for 15mins, have some coffee, tea, milk, icecream or whatever somewhere else. Sometimes, when basic throubleshooting is not working, other than percussive maintenance, leaving it be is the other alternative option lol

How many RAM sticks are there? Are they two 16GB or four 8GB units? If there are four sticks, consider raising the voltage by about 5% above the original specification. If the system is designed for 1.20 volts, increase it slightly to 1.25v. Also, reducing the clock speed could be a viable adjustment.
