Hi
The problem started on Fallout 76, WWE 2K24 and other titles. They freeze without completely crashing the PC; the cursor moves but is slow and jerky. It forces me to shut down the system via the PSU switch. I even swapped my platform and it still works with those games.

I’m using a Ryzen 5 3600 and a 3050, and it keeps happening. I suspected a bad memory channel, so I upgraded to an I3 12100. After reinstalling Windows, the issue persists on WWE and Fallout 76. The Memory Diagnostic flagged a problem with my RipJaws setup, but another kit seems stable. Games still crash even when testing on different SSDs—Hitman 3 and Elden Ring ran smoothly.

Any advice would be really helpful.

Current Specs
Intel Core I3-12100
ASUS RTX 3050 6GB
32gb XPG ? 3200mhz
SANDISK SSD 128gb (Boot)
1TB T-FORCE VULCAN Z SSD
1TB SP SSD
EVGA 600W BRONZE PSU

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
32gb XPG ? 3200mhz
Do you have a link to the RAM kit?
EVGA 600W BRONZE PSU
EVGA is the brand name, while 600W refers to the claimed power output. Bronze indicates an advertised efficiency of 80+. Could you share the model number of the PSU and its age?
You didn’t mention your motherboard’s make and model. What BIOS version does it use?
Yes, I reinstalled Windows.
Are all drives except the one you want for the OS disconnected from the system? Did you install the OS in offline mode? Speaking of OS, are you using Windows 10 or 11? Did you recreate the installer to avoid a corrupt installation?
Where did you obtain the game installers?

I'm facing the same issue with Fallout 76 since 2020, and so far no solution has been found. I'm considering switching my PC, which feels like the right move. Most of what I've tried points to a bad SSD or memory, but even more demanding games don't affect it.
