CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X
CPU cooler: Thermalrite Peerless Assassin 120 SE
Motherboard: MSI B650M-A Wifi
Ram: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM 32 GB
SSD: SAMSUNG 980 PRO and Team Group T-Force Vulcan 500 GB
GPU: SAPPHIRE PULSE 6700 XT
PSU: CORSAIR RM750x
Chassis: Corsair 4000D air flow
OS: Windows 10

Since installing my AsRock X670E Steel Legend, I've experienced some unusual problems. Initially, when assembling the PC, it wouldn't power on, and both the CPU and DRAM displayed warning lights. After reassembly, it started working most of the time, though it would occasionally power up by itself when put to sleep. Completely turning it off didn’t cause it to shut down automatically.

Recently, another issue arose. Two days ago, booting to Windows took significantly longer than usual—over a minute instead of under 30 seconds. Last night, I encountered a strange event: upon powering on, my PC failed to reach the main screen at all. The fans were running, but no indicators showed any faults with the CPU, DRAM, or other components. Still, Windows wouldn’t load properly. Eventually, I held the power button to shut it down.

Once off, the PC displayed a black screen with white text stating it was scanning and repairing the C drive, showing a progress bar. When it reached 100%, it returned to a black screen followed by a blue error message. The blue screen highlighted "Automatic Repair" and warned that the PC didn’t load correctly, suggesting a restart might resolve the issue.

After restarting, the PC booted normally into Windows, but these recurring problems remain concerning.

Do you have any insight into why these occurrences happen? Specifically, why does my PC sometimes power on by itself in sleep mode and why it needed to scan the C drive before launching Windows?
