I’ve added more drivers, and now Fallout 4 and Final Fantasy XV are starting, though they're performing poorly. Are there any steps I can take to improve their speed?

Perhaps removing the latest software updates would be beneficial.

If I eliminate them, the games won’t function, so I’m unsure of what to do otherwise.

Absolutely not. The specifications for your computer are significantly lower than the required minimum to operate FF15:

With Fallout 4, you should be able to run it at a resolution of 1024x768, with all settings minimized, and achieve over 30 frames per second. You may need to adjust power options in Windows and the NVIDIA control panel to maximize performance. Utilizing a laptop cooling pad, along with cleaning out dust buildup with compressed air, could also improve performance.

If I acquired an Nvidia Shield controller, would the initial version be compatible with playing Final Fantasy XV?
