Certainly, the issue seems resolved with the drivers set up correctly for iTunes and iPads.

I’d slam my PC if it didn’t know it was funded by my parents’ money

Hey Garnetdevil, my tip is to ditch iTunes... I used it a few years back and never looked back. Unless you have a specific reason, I’d recommend trying something like Mediamonkey. My collection of just 100GB works perfectly—no problems sorting, mixing, transferring, syncing, or anything else. If you really want it, go with a solid alternative. Just beware of hidden files—last time I searched through old folders, I found a 6GB parent folder with strange names like AU, FB, JE, UN, OR, DS. After moving it to Mediamonkey, all the music I’d lost was recovered instantly.

When I tried to sync with mediamoney, it showed errors and said I needed to reset. It seemed like something was wrong with the iPad update—after reinstalling Windows 7 it worked again, which was great!

If you think "It just works" remains Apple's tagline, you're likely in for trouble. Checking the device manager might reveal it—then consider removing drivers or restarting the iPad.
