You're considering upgrading your setup with a few key components. The i7 6700 offers solid performance, especially if you're looking to boost your gaming or productivity. Selling your current CPU and RAM could provide a nice cash inflow, while the GTX 1060 is a decent card for casual gaming. It might be a good idea if you're open to trading in parts for some extra money. If you're thinking about similar decisions, it depends on your priorities—gaming, work, or value.

I would purchase it. The cost is reasonable.

From a gaming perspective, there won’t be much noticeable gain, as you’re just changing the CPU. You might see a slight boost of 5-10% in FPS, but that’s it. There are no extra threads or improvements beyond that. If you could separate and sell it for profit, I don’t see why not.
