I've experienced Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel on its early release with a PC setup. Now I own a dedicated machine and am looking to dive into a MMORPG but face some challenges. ESO also caught my attention—I wondered if its age makes it still worthwhile? I also have several questions about the game: Are there rewards for winning? Is the player base still active? Do guilds or clans exist? Is the Gold Edition beneficial? What about the PvP scene? Should I purchase via Steam? Thanks in advance, and appreciate your help! -A_Lifeguard

ESO isn't a good deal, I wouldn't even consider spending $10 on it. The experience feels low quality compared to usual Elder Scrolls titles, and the battles are really bad. If you're like me, I'd keep searching for an MMORPG instead.

Skyrim's battles remained significantly superior to ESO's, suggesting a clear advantage in gameplay.

It's an enjoyable experience that dives deep into gameplay. To truly improve, playing with others enhances the experience. You either need friends to join or be open to meeting new people online. This social aspect makes it exciting, but solo play will significantly limit the fun.
