Didn't try the first one, but really liked the second. Still want to play the first and third.
I am thinking of crisis 3, is there a good modding community for it? And yes might as well submerge PC in liquid nitrogen!

If you liked the second option (you're one of the select few), then things improved significantly! Most people thought the first was the best, the second the worst, and the third was average, but because it was a big step up from the second, it was widely seen as much better. With the third, though, it really depends on what you mean—story-wise it's not worth mentioning, but for gameplay and technology it's actually solid.
Honestly, it seems pretty bad. There are games available that could easily surpass any Crysis mods.
