Feeling really down today... at least I'm fixing my bad gaming rig (gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 rev 3.0). I can't play any games until I get it back. Right now I'm using my ultrabook, and I'll be using a lot more because I don't have much else to do. Anyone else missing their gaming machine?

I understand the issue, but I’m limited by the CPU bottleneck I face.

I'm contacting my board because of CPU throttling, leading to a bottleneck and extremely poor performance

I misplaced my gaming laptop three months back...have been using poor machines ever since. I get really frustrated all the time.

If the updated CPU doesn't resolve the issue, I'll proceed with the RMA for the graphics card. They said the CPU shouldn't be limiting the card's performance, but we'll confirm that once the new one arrives in a few weeks.

The pump on my Corsair H100i failed, which almost damaged my CPU. I’m now relying on the original cooling solution until repairs are made. It’s definitely worth it.

I don't have specific details about your upcoming purchase, but typically you'll choose a CPU like an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5, paired with a GPU such as an RTX 3060 or similar.
