Open Start, then input cmd in the search bar. In the results, select Command Prompt and choose Run with administrator rights. When asked to proceed, click Continue. In the prompt, enter powercfg .exe -h off and press Enter.

The PC starts up quickly, around 7 seconds, using an HDD. It has sleep enabled and hibernate turned off—everything looks normal.

Shut down the machine when necessary, restart when needed. There’s no difference in performance—it runs at the exact same speed. A small amount of space is saved. You can sleep safely whenever required.

It would have been better to simply switch it off and notice it’s not something you can alter permanently after turning it back on.
