Hi, I’m planning to assemble a PC and need help checking if the parts fit my budget. The GPU I’m considering is the best option within my price range. Here’s what I have so far:

- R5 5600X (350$)
- ML240L V2 RGB (90$)
- Gigabyte RX 5500XT (340$)
- MSI B550 Gaming Plus (170$)
- Vengeance RGB Pro 3600MHz 8x2 (138$)
- TX650M 80+Gold (96$)
- A2000 500GB SSD (75$)
- 4000X+ SP120 (150$ + 20$)

Since I’m in West Europe, the total comes to about 1426€ (prices may be higher due to shipping and taxes). In my country, a 3060 Ti is usually sold for around 1100€ or less, with similar models available.

Could you compare this setup to what’s available locally? I’d appreciate your thoughts.

I believe your build looks acceptable. If you aim for high settings at 1080p, the card you have is suitable and the cost seems reasonable. For alternatives, consider a Ryzen 5 3600. The RAM is fine but a bit expensive right now. Your RGB budget is significant, though that’s up to your preferences. The PSU is decent, but other options like the Corsair TX650M, RM650, RM650x or Seasonic GX-650 might be better. You could also look for an RTX 3060 or RTX 3060 Ti around $700 if you stay persistent. It really depends on whether the higher price is justified for your needs.

Choose a Ryzen 3600 and upgrade your graphics card. Alternatively, opt for a comparable setup using Intel components. Consider a 10400(B460) or later with an appropriate motherboard, rely on integrated graphics initially, and upgrade to a solid GPU when prices drop. RAM should be around 3000 MHz if using Intel.

$185 cooler for 5600x model. Reduce cooling output and redirect it elsewhere in the system. The 5600x only has about 65W of power, so many options are available for cooling.

Thanks for the advice. I picked the TX650M at a slightly higher price elsewhere. Regarding the GPU, I was thinking of something like an RTX 3060 Ti or 3060 possibly 3070—depends on the situation. When prices stabilize, I’d like to upgrade and the performance gap between these models is quite noticeable. I usually invest heavily in RGB, but I’m considering trimming a few more expenses to upgrade the graphics again. Thanks for the suggestions!

You're considering the COOLER MASTER ML240L V2 at a price of $90. It might be better to compare it with the COOLER MASTER 212 evo, though I personally don't like the look of air coolers. Thanks for the advice!

I'm sorry it took longer than the others to replay, but I had to look into some details. I mentioned why I won't take the 3600 and for Intel it's almost the same (mainly performance), but it also offers savings on the motherboard, CPU, RAM, and the GPU. However, there are downsides too, like finding a board with an IO that suits my needs is tough. After all, I personally don't like Intel. Thank you for the suggestion.
