Hey, your PC is running great. You're enjoying GTA at 1080p with high settings, and FPS stays steady above 50 even when advanced graphics are turned off. Sometimes it hits 60fps, but you can't see it on the screen. You're thinking about keeping VSync active—should you? It makes sense to maintain a consistent frame rate of around 60fps rather than swinging wildly between 50 and 100fps. That way, the game stays smoother and less likely to cause issues.

If stuttering is an issue, lower the settings and turn on VSync. When FPS drops below 60 with it enabled, it will automatically revert to 30 FPS to maintain stability.

Test both options. The effect can vary based on your configuration. You decide if you want to see v-sync or not. I like the v-sync appearance, but in some games the delay is too strong and I have to turn it off to avoid stuttering. It depends on each game for me.

This hasn't occurred before... It's strange. Never seen in any game.

It relies on your preferred gaming style. Give it a try—just switch the settings on or off.

980 is quite excessive for 1080p, but it’s better to upgrade to a 1440p screen. You’ll still enjoy smooth 40-70 frames per second!

The strategy is clear. Likely to receive a ROG Swift or an AOC monitor.
