I shared a similar post on Reddit with a video showing the problem, hoping others could offer solutions. You can view it here: I attached a video with three examples of the issue. It’s worth noting that while I only demonstrate two games, this has happened in every game I play—even simple ones like Lethal Company. I haven’t managed to consistently reproduce the problem; sometimes I can play for hours without issues, other times it appears minutes after starting. The issue seems limited to gaming sessions, not regular desktop use.

I’ve tried several steps: turned off all overclocks, adjusted GPU and CPU voltages slightly, used XMP for RAM, reinstalled drivers, disabled the Display Driver Uninstaller in safe mode, reset the BIOS settings, and even performed a factory reset.

Currently, I’m worried the graphics card might be failing or defective, but I still hope it can be fixed through software adjustments before considering replacement parts. My system was built about a year ago, so I believe it’s still under warranty. The specs are: CPU i9-12900K, Z690 motherboard, Aorus Ultra, Trident Z5 RAM, Asus TUF 3090 GPU, and an EVGA 1300 PSU. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Ensure no audio is sent to your monitor via the GPU. Disable NVIDIA sound devices in Device Manager.

The image shows a screenshot, but I'm not sure what it's explaining.

I don't think they should remain active right now. I'll revise my approach if this doesn't fix the problem or if I encounter it again for a long time.

The display driver is experiencing numerous issues. This might stem from a driver problem, a faulty physical card, or problems with RAM or power supply. However, the graphics card itself is the source of the error.

I think I'll attempt another DDU and reinstall the drivers. If that doesn't help, I'll try using an older functional card to see if it resolves the issue, and if that fails, I'll investigate the RAM or PSU. Appreciate the advice!

I’ve made the change and swapped GPUs with a friend to check if it was the GPU causing the problem. It happened about five days ago, and neither of us has encountered that exact issue yet. I’ve noticed several artifacts on his GPU as well. I updated the Reddit post with a video showing these artifacts.
