I've got two dual monitors linked to an Asus 1660Super. Right after turning them on, strange gray lines appear and flicker; otherwise everything works normally. The lines stay visible even when the monitors power up, and the Xiaomi Mi35 Ultrawide logo flickers during startup. The other LG monitor isn’t affected. Is there a solution to this problem? Also, can monitors suddenly fail? I purchased both a few months ago.

Hello! Verify your Nvidia drivers are current and see if others report similar issues online. Then, test swapping the HDMI/DisplayPort cables between monitors and GPU ports. If the issue continues, try using a different cable type (switch HDMI to DisplayPort and vice versa) and rearrange the monitors, placing the secondary as primary. If this doesn’t resolve the problem and the issue remains unchanged, your monitor may be faulty—consider requesting an RMA/refund or recycling it. Hope this helps! Feel free to let me know if you need more info. Cheers! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*

Thanks a lot! I've checked everything and still couldn't fix it. The issue seems to be with the monitor. Did you send it in for a return or replacement?

Great to have the RMA order received. We’re looking forward to the technicians providing a working replacement or a refund. It seems we’ll just have to wait for the package to arrive.
