I just began a 1.12.2 server with several mods and am experiencing frequent stuttering. I see high FPS but after downloading and uninstalling OptiFine, Minecraft reinstalls and still doesn’t work properly.

Is there any issue when the mods are off? Since Minecraft mods aren't always crafted by top-tier developers aiming for perfect compatibility and coding quality, they tend to slow down almost any machine no matter its specifications.

I'll verify your polling frequency in the application's settings (if available) and try adjusting the rates. I noticed stuttering at 1000Hz previously; lowering it to 125 or 250Hz might improve performance.
