the game remains stuck at frame 160 and suddenly shifts to around 10 frames every minute. adjusting settings hasn't resolved the issue. my system specs are listed here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WrvZk9

I've been experiencing it for about a week now, and everything was normal until yesterday. I'm not sure what caused the change.

What hardware are you using? The game engine might struggle with high FPS, causing stutters. Consider setting a frame rate cap.

This might be the issue. Consider limiting your FPS to 90-140. You could also adjust MSAA to 8x.

He frequently works with GTA for his tests and often mentions that... around 150-160fps is the worst for GTA, it's better to cap it at 120 probably (since the screen refresh is likely 60 or 120).
