I understand. If you had reviewed the whole forum thread, you’d have noticed I mentioned it before. By now, it looks like you’re just trying to generate more votes.

A clear contrast exists between a game subscription and buying titles directly. While it might seem like a smart choice in your case, remember that available options can shift over time, potentially removing access to your favorite games. This works well for one-time play sessions but isn't ideal for ongoing use.

I think the service is valuable, though concerns about ownership by EA and Origin may deter some users. People often criticize it due to DRM issues and other factors. Steam isn’t particularly welcoming to gamers, yet it has fewer detractors compared to others. Origin even offers games for free, which I recall happened recently. Personally, I don’t have strong feelings toward EA or Origin, but I’d appreciate services more like Netflix in style. PS: I almost overlooked this point. Steam is essentially a monopoly that takes a significant cut from consumers and developers. And it seems gamers aren’t fully aware of the impact it has.

Most agree that getting in early is a solid option for EA titles. The main concern is that you won’t be able to play them again after a while because you don’t own the originals, though it’s probably cheaper later on.
