Hey there! I was really thrilled when I bought Crysis Remastered, but honestly I’m feeling quite let down. It seems like a lot of effort went into making it, yet the performance is so lacking. I thought Crysis was meant to be a powerhouse that crushed hardware limits, but from what I see, even at the highest settings, the graphics feel pretty average at best. It should still capture the original experience, right?

Comparing it to Crysis 3 makes it even clearer—people will notice the difference. But honestly, the real issue is the gameplay. How could they make something look so mediocre while delivering such poor performance? I mean, I can play Crysis 3 smoothly at high settings and other titles like Battlefield 1 or Borderlands 3 without any issues, but here I’m stuck at low performance even with a strong system (Ryzen 9 3900X, Crosshair 8, 3200MHz, 2.1GHz RAM, SLI). Sometimes it drops to 35-40 FPS in certain areas, and on low settings it barely reaches 75 FPS.

This is really confusing. Did they intentionally build it this way? If not, why wasn’t there a better solution? I’m frustrated and disappointed—I love the game, but it’s not running as it should. Could someone explain what went wrong and how they could fix it? This isn’t just about me; it’s about whether it can still be played at all.

Likely just a weak optimization attempt to push demands higher than necessary. Disappointing, since Flight Simulator still overwhelms PCs despite the visual quality gap. I’ll note that attempting Ray Tracing on a GTX 1070 with DXR should result in extremely poor performance.

They seem more focused on showcasing hardware capabilities rather than ensuring smooth performance.

It's essentially a reference point rather than an actual challenge; they're just a meme and seem to be capitalizing on it.

It appears the issue remains similar to the initial one—failing to utilize multi-core processors effectively. Disappointing. I’ll revert to the original version; it still seems to work okay.

From my perspective, a modified original Crisis version looks superior to the remastered one.

I just reviewed a thorough side-by-side comparison with the original. Really disappointing. Lacks levels, missing features, no free save, poor performance, and certain elements are capped at 30fps regardless of your settings. It feels like a console ported to PC asking if it can run Criterion. Total waste of time. No purchase.

I'm sorry about the full price purchase. It would've been better to wait for a discount. Even then, the Crysis mod version works fine and looks decent. The main reason for wanting a remaster is ray tracing, but it can't run smoothly in FPS mode due to performance issues.

It seems there are issues with ray tracing remaining active despite disabling it in graphics settings, leading to poor performance. Additionally, the system failed to detect RTX GPUs, preventing the use of their RT cores for ray tracing.
