I adjusted from 2500K to 3950X and it still performed okay. At 4K in PUBG my FPS stayed similar, and I experienced fewer freezes compared to the new processor. For CPU-heavy titles like BF5, 2700K overclocks nicely—it's a solid value for its price.

The numbers seem straightforward at first glance. However, if the budget isn’t enough for a larger investment, it’s practical to purchase the processor within reach. Focusing on just one expense overlooks the bigger picture. Comparing currencies after similar figures still offers little insight.

I wasn't addressing what you meant. I mentioned looking for a more affordable i7, which could be useful now. It might not last long due to Brexit, but the gap is still noticeable. In euros you might have some validity, but pounds offer better buying power across Europe. About 75£ equals roughly 90$ in purchasing value.

The 75-pound model still offers better performance compared to your full system upgrade. Of course, the price drops after you factor in shipping costs.

Certainly, it remains a poor decision. A complete system upgrade only provides a fresh CPU, not the broader improvements needed. No.
