It seemed like a great day because November 11th is mainly about honoring those who fought in the First World War, and it could provide Titanfall 2 with extra time to build momentum with more sales after its release seven days later. What are your thoughts?

It’s unlikely anyone would enjoy a game centered on conflict and violence commemorating real sacrifices. Such a concept feels misguided and insensitive to those who experienced the war.

It's a conflict-driven game. It could work well for promotion if released now, but the reaction would likely be overwhelmingly negative. It shouldn't have been released today—it would trivialize the sacrifices made by those who lost their lives.

It would be extremely unsuitable to develop a game centered on conflict and violence during a time honoring sacrifices for one's nation.

Despite my love for BF1, I believe it lacks the maturity and thematic consistency needed for that title. It might have seemed a bit forced and unnatural. Perhaps if EA had shown a meaningful commitment to veterans through partnerships or donations, it could have been more impactful. Right now, BF1 remains primarily an entertainment product, and this approach wouldn’t have been ideal for promotion.

If released today, distribution would likely be limited to online channels only. Physical locations would remain closed until further notice.

Considering how American media and the public react to certain topics often isn't a smart approach. Even after all this time, especially when discussing WWI rather than WWII. By the way, many Finnish players still honor our Independence Day on December 6th by running a Winter War mod for original BF1942. So when partners and friends are watching the Independence Day gathering at the president's residence, men tend to play some BF game.
