I’m wondering if I can still reach 3600 with this setup. It seems like I’m not even getting close to 3200 anymore. This is really disappointing. I used to overclock back in the early 2000s, but my old machine is now outdated and I just got it. The cooling system is AIO and the current temperature is low, so performance shouldn’t be affected much. Thanks for your advice!
Configure the memory frequency via the BIOS settings, then let the system use the automatic mode; the DOCP profile will handle the rest.
I accidentally hit the A2 and B2 configuration during a build, missing it entirely. The PC would generate errors or crash under heavy memory usage at the right speeds and timing. Changing them from A1/B1 to A2/B2 fixed everything. Follow @--SID-- advice and swap the slots; it should work. Also verify the board is delivering the correct voltage to the memory using DOCP, as I've had issues there before—maybe you need to adjust other controller voltages for better performance and stability.
I asked her to assist with moving the memory slots since she has smaller hands and fingers, and it was successful. The system started booting at 3600, thank you for your help!
