I installed the latest components and updated the system, but now it shows red and yellow debug lights and won’t reboot. Help! MSI Tomahawk B650 with Ryzen 7800X3D Sapphire 7900XTX, G.Skill 32GB DDR5 RAM, 6000 MHz CPU. The excitement of building my PC is fading before I can even play games. I might consider updating the BIOS. Several releases came after yours, offering stability improvements and combinations like those with EXPO. Your device needs to back up BIOS flashback support.
You're worried about resuming it after a reboot, right? That happened before it stopped working completely.
But what if the problem stopping you from starting is related to BIOS updates? That means you can't just restart and work around it. At first boot it might run some memory checks. If something went wrong then it could be causing trouble later. Clearing the CMOS could help until you turn it back on again, and a proper update should fix it permanently. You could also test with just one stick of RAM to see if that resolves the issue.

It was really bothersome when it started on the first attempt and worked perfectly after installing simple apps. After Windows updates, it would restart properly, but I had to reboot to access the BIOS for a full update, which then caused it to fail.
Did the CPU resolve this problem for you? I’m experiencing the same exact issue with nearly identical builds, and swapping out the RAM resolved it. However, a couple of weeks later, the same occurred again using the same type of RAM—G.Skill DDR5 6000 Neo. Since I’ve upgraded to a new motherboard and changed to Kingston Fury Beast memory, I suspect the issue relates to the G.Skill memory and Expo training. I still have a few days before returning the CPU, so I’m hoping you can share what worked for your setup. Thanks ahead!
