sittin here watchin cleetus mcfarland eating some tacos with gta 5 in the background and next thing i know my computer turns off. my fans don’t spin, no post, power button turns on pic but won’t turn it off but i still have rgb and i hear my hdd spin up along with the little fan on my motherboard. i’ve bridge together cleartc plenty of times as well as took my cmos battery out, tried bridging the power button and an older gpu. computers got some miles on it so i don’t know what would have caused it. anything would help so i shouldn’t have to take it to a shop

Your home temperature might be too high, causing a thermal shutdown. Another possibility is that your power supply unit is being overwhelmed, which also triggered the OCP. Since I don’t know your specific equipment, I’m making an educated guess.

You could be onto something with the PSU—it's just a 500W unit and is the oldest component, but understanding what's inside might confirm your guess. It runs at 5600x on a cooler Master AIO using a TUF X570 board and a triple fan 3060.

The Ryzen X570 is newer than the B450 but not too far behind. Make sure your current BIOS is up to date, as this is essential for any Ryzen setup. You might also consider using a power supply of 650W or higher.

I headed to Best Buy and picked up a 750W PSU, it worked perfectly—thanks for the assistance, boss guy!
