It suddenly started working after being off for two days. What if it stops again?
details : motherboard spoiler : asus prime b 560m-a cpu : intel 11400 ram : corsair vengeance 8gb*2 3600mhz psu : cooler master mwe 550w bronze v2 gpu : NA ----------------------------------------------- report : at 10:16:52 pm on 2023/08/31 after normal operation the computer stopped as expected via windows, power supply not switched off. after a few hours it failed to respond, fans didn’t spin and no indicator lights appeared. attempted to restart power supply and power on again but still nothing happened. decided to unplug everything and clean dust, even testing the power button switch and motherboard restart button. after plugging back in it still wouldn’t turn on. suspect PSU is defective. next day I plugged in all components just to test – it worked fine but the motherboard LED stayed lit (uncertain meaning) and after restart it turned off again. checked system logs and found 3 error entries: 1) Windows failed fast startup with status 0xC00000D4 (source - kernel boot), 2) system rebooted without a clean shutdown, possibly due to unresponsiveness or power loss (source - kernel boot), 3) the prior shutdown at 10:16:52 pm was unexpected (source - Eventlog).
