Lately I've struggled to get games running smoothly, especially titles like [skyrim] and [StarCraft]. I believe I have suitable hardware—AMD Phenom II X6 1090T with 6 CPUs, ~3.2GHz RAM, and a GeForce GTX 660 Ti—but I feel there might be something missing. Could anyone help me figure out what's going on?

Sure, I'll rephrase that. It's interesting how, regardless of the setting—Low or Ultra—it doesn't have much impact.

Hey, ~8 frames per second in Dragon Age 6-24 works well for Skyrim and StarCraft, then it slows down to around 5 FPS. (Just checking my drivers.)

Review the CPU temperatures and graphics performance. It could be throttling.
