Updated to version 8.1. It doesn't appear to be an issue with Windows 8.

This problem hasn't occurred to me before—make sure Windows recognizes your window properly. Try double-clicking or similar actions. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what else to try. Wishing you success resolving it.
