It seems unclear. Could you clarify the context? Are you asking about shipping EXPO speeds or something else?

Prior to addressing any comments here, I wanted to share more context. NZXT has completely removed any obligation, refusing to process an RMA either. They did propose a refund for the $109 labor charge, which would be reimbursed via store credit. In essence, they’re indicating they don’t mind if the equipment functions beyond basic requirements. As long as the device starts up, that’s sufficient for them—something that surprises me given their custom build focus. I could have purchased a ready-made unit from Walmart for a much lower cost while achieving similar outcomes. They essentially stripped away their online configurator, switching to a basic selection interface, just a few days after I filed my ticket and referenced California’s Consumer Protection Act.
I’m not a legal expert, but my best option seems to be submitting a consumer complaint to my state’s attorney general. I’m unsure if this would succeed or even be relevant.
As for alternatives, this was the initial reply from a customer service representative:
“Spoiler – Thanks for the update and sorry for the hassle with EXPO on your BLD PC. Please be aware that we don’t test our systems for XMP/EXPO compatibility and can’t guarantee performance. We only confirm that all BLD PCs operate as intended without overclocking.
These numbers are the speeds directly provided by manufacturers or vendors. We can’t promote them otherwise. Regrettably, we’re not able to help with enabling XMP/EXPO at this time.”
I hope this helps clarify the situation.
I hadn't encountered a reference point until August. The problems I faced, like MCR freezing on startup, weren't severe enough at first to realize they were significant. I attempted to fix everything myself for a month without success. This is my first build in the AM-series. While researching, I noticed many reports highlighting AM5's instability and how this particular board worsened the situation. I'd talked to NZXT a few times, but they didn't offer much help. After Arc Raiders left, I encountered a bug (AREX0024) that would disconnect me from their servers unless I rebooted beforehand to clear corrupted tokens or states. Just playing a game while dealing with longer boot times and issues made me determined to investigate further, even reaching out to NZXT support through tickets.
