Luckily someone else understands this... it doesn't matter if it works on an old notebook or a modern PC. Blizzard should focus on console titles if they invest so much effort in the game's development and design.

I understand this well. Casual gamers will notice really high frame rates, which makes them very happy. But for those who play 25-man hard modes, the spell effects can damage modern systems. Outside of raids, I consistently hit 150+ fps when everything is optimized. Honestly, though, that’s not impressive. Blizzard seems to be slacking. They could fix the code and improve performance significantly.
