While testing HDMI inputs, my Hisense 55" Xumo TV frequently prompts a restart even though connections appear secure. Random errors appear, sometimes indicating an HDCP issue. Restarting via the on-screen menu works briefly but the problem recurs after a reboot. Occasionally, powering off and reconnecting resolves it, though other times I must disconnect and reconnect the power source. It seems the cables themselves are fine, and devices connect properly on other non-smart TVs. What might be causing this issue?

Turn off the TV and let it sit for two minutes. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, perform a factory reset. If that fails, contact Hisense—they offer a five-year warranty (provided you register it within two years in the UK).
