I assembled my machine two months back, and I've observed (via core temp) that my VCORE is fluctuating excessively, even when idle as shown in the photos. For instance, check the VID: your specs include an msi trio gtx 2080 ti, i9 9900k, corsair h100 RGB, ROG Strix Z390-H Gaming MB, 32gb ram, and evga 750 W g2 gold.
I learned about undervolting to resolve the overheating issue, but after trying it, temperatures stayed near 60 or 70 degrees. I’m wondering if adjusting the voltage settings to activate only during heavy usage would help, but I’m unsure how to set that up.
Yes, this software seems ineffective, likely displaying random cores and altering them frequently. HWInfo should provide details about each core. The voltage fluctuates based on frequency for every core.
