hello everyone, me again. So i have a ram question . i bought some ram a long time ago for my PC. turns out, my board didnt support ram at 3200, only 3000mhz. so it ran it at 2133. if i tried to OC it, it would crash so i had to leave it at 2133. upgraded to a ryzen 9 5800x, gigabyte aorus master x570. Cpu-z says the ram is running at Dramm 1066, CMD says it running at 2166, and the motherboard says its running at 3200. i have had no trouble with the ram so i have no reason to believe its faulty. is there something im not seeing here? is my ram truly bad and cant perform at full speed? im more then willing to buy a new 32gb set but i dont want to do that if the ram is going to be same speed even though its rated for something higher. here is a link to my ram at newegg. i bought it frys a few years ago. https://www.newegg.com/patriot-32gb-288-...lsrc=aw.ds

You should be able to apply it without any issues in most situations.

You were correct. All settings are now displaying at 3200mhz. I didn't configure XMP properly on my ASUS Hero 6, which was a mistake. Thanks for the clarification.
