I needed to make an account just to respond, since I was also dealing with the same problem on another computer. It was also causing blue screens. Honestly, to the person asking, you're not doing it right. If you'd reinstalled your OS and tested the system, the issue should have been fixed. The problem comes from Oculus itself—specifically the Oculus service. Open services, change Oculus services to manual mode instead of automatic. This stops the apps from running. There are three that start normally on your PC. So you installed Oculus but never connected the physical headset. That means Oculus is constantly in panic mode, trying to find a headset, but there aren't any connected, even a ghost one. That’s why it crashes. It’s frustrating, especially with all the recent changes at Oculus. It’s disappointing they took over Oculus...unfair that they caused blue screens on my machine and others too.
