For the MW2 free trial, I adjusted the settings to maximum and the game crashed, but it ran smoothly at medium settings. My system includes a 3090 Ti processor, an 850W PSU, and an X570 Carbon Pro Wi-Fi motherboard.

Reduce GPU power to the minimum needed for your card to work, then try running the game again. If it still runs smoothly at lower settings, the issue might be with the power supply unit. Using MSI Afterburner is a good suggestion for this task.

I have coverage, so I’ll submit a claim for a new cooler and PSU. Then I’ll upgrade Windows or let them assist with installing Windows 11.

Would you prefer assistance with a temporary solution or sticking with the insurance?

I need to send my whole PC for the insurance, so I skipped that. It’ll be a hassle, but I’m probably just going to perform a hard reset. Getting a Windows 10 key is tricky since I bought this custom build from someone else.
