Hey guys, I just upgraded my WiFi plan and got new ASUS mesh routers. Everything went fine until last week when my connection kept resetting. Now I can't access apps or websites, but the error says the connection reset happened. Only Google and Amazon work for me. This problem is only on my PC; other stuff in the house still works.

I tried this:
- Changed DNS to 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, and 8.8.4.4.
- Did a network reset by reinstalling drivers (both Ethernet and Wireless) and turning them back on.
- Reset the firewall to default just in case it stopped blocking things.
- Scanned with antivirus software to make sure no malware is stopping my connection.

I tried releasing and renewing my IP address, which worked for some of the commands like ping, but I still can't get a real connection. Traceroute shows that the connection keeps resetting anyway.

I heard torrenting might cause ISPs to send TCP Reset packets, so maybe that's what is happening? I'm really stuck here. I hope I don't have to reinstall Windows because that would be a whole mess with file backups and everything else.

On your computer are you sure that only one network adapter is enabled. Either wired or wireless as applicable. Not both or two network adapters being enabled at the same time. Try disabling IPv6. That has been successful for many people. Make and model router? The router's logs (if available and enabled) may provide some clue. Who has full admin rights to the router? You will need help from that person. Run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt. Post the results. You should be able to use Copy and Paste without needing to retype evertything.
