I was targeting users who can't switch browsers or aren't aware of alternatives. I also prefer not to use Chrome.

Verify your graphics card drivers. Perform a fresh installation (for Nvidia, select Advanced > confirm the option, also uninstall Nvidia 3D components). This usually improves performance. Also, look for Windows updates—there’s a significant update called Service Release 1 available. Edge has shown good stability for most users.
