Hi, I've been using the ROG Strix 390i for more than a year now. Recently, I observed that the DRAM Q LED (yellow) stays illuminated longer after powering up. It turns on in BIOS (version 2407) and sometimes remains active when logging into Windows, though everything functions normally and the XMP profile stays enabled. It eventually shuts off after a short period. Could other Asus users or anyone else with this board confirm this behavior? It seems consistent from the start, but I added two fans using splitters and noticed it only during testing.
Occasionally, certain boards activate the LED when XMP is turned on. That's typical.
I'll check that later, thanks. Edit: I've run some tests and it looks like the yellow Q LED stays lit even without the XMP profile. That's even more unusual, especially since the OS didn't boot twice—once the screen stayed black and I had to power it off, and then I encountered a WHAE BSOD error during login. When I enabled the profile, everything worked fine. Do you have any suggestions about why the OS is acting this way? If memory was the issue, shouldn't it trigger WHAE errors when XMP is off? Maybe I'm being too sensitive, but I'm wondering why the Q LED remains on and if I made a mistake during fan installation or dust cleaning.
