I have an old computer I want to upgrade with Retropie for retro gaming. Its specs are quite low, so I'm unsure if it can handle the requirements. What do you think? Could it run some classic games? If not, should I stick to Linux and maybe upgrade later? A PS1 Mini would be a better choice since it's free, but I might consider adding more RAM and an SSD in the future. Right now I prefer keeping it as it is.
Consider testing RetroArch or similar emulators first to see how they handle the games before choosing a full OS. It’s smarter than jumping into a Linux distribution only to find poor performance later.
