I switched to Windows 10 Pro mainly because it offers improved gaming performance with DirectX 12. The issue you're facing might be due to compatibility limitations—some games only support older versions like DirectX 9 or 11. It’s possible that the titles you’re trying to run aren’t fully supported by the newer version, which is why you can’t enable DirectX 12 exclusively.

They don't currently support it unless a patch or remake is released. Future releases are expected to include dx12.

Games need to be programmed for DX12. Within roughly a year, all upcoming titles will be compatible.

Hold on a bit longer. It seems there might be a game you're thinking of, but I can't recall the name.

Developers must release updates that include Dx12 compatibility. Most titles won’t add this feature unless they’re newly launched. Larger games are more likely to provide it.
