I used to enjoy playing a lot, but as I got older other priorities came up. Now I still play, though it’s inconsistent. Fallout brought me back, but it will fade again. Just take a break and try again later. It doesn’t help when games stop pushing new ideas and just repeat the same things over and over.

I usually spend about an hour or two and then lose interest. The main reason is that no one around me plays at the same time.

I used to believe I was the only one struggling with this issue, so I’d spend months at a time just because I wasn’t feeling it. I always considered it strange since I’m passionate about gaming, but I had to step back from time to time. Recently, I’ve started playing sandbox games. They seem to spark my creativity when I’m stuck. Titles like Cities Skylines, Beam.NG Drive, and even GTA V with mods can replace hours of YouTube browsing. It really helped me, and I wonder if others have tried something similar—maybe it’s your secret weapon if you still have that gaming spirit! 😊

It's happened to me too, but only for about a month. I just browse the internet and wait for it to refresh.

I began to stop playing a lot after completing university. It’s better to discover unique treasures and stay patient with the games you care about. What really turned me off was the hype surrounding games, which ruined the experience of next-gen titles for me. Since 2015/2016 nothing excites me anymore—everything feels too average, and people avoid taking risks because it’s not profitable. Now that I’ve cut back on gaming, I enjoy games that feel more dynamic and engaging.
