Bought a DELL 1907FP for £5 at a nearby car boot sale. Since plugging it in, my desktop window manager has crashed every time I open it. After changing the resolution settings and turning it back on via settings, the DWM only crashes after a full restart. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

What kind of link are you employing? All approved drivers are set up for the PC/GPU output. Is there a fault indicator present in the Event Viewer?

Current configuration uses DVI to VGA on the Dell 1907FP, while U2713HM draws from the display port. A second 19-inch monitor is connected via dual-link DVI. I’ll update the drivers and review Event Viewer later.

What a great question! It seems you're curious about your experience with DVI to VGA adapters. Let me know if you'd like more details or help with anything else.

Interestingly, the issue might have stemmed from the drivers, as updating them resolved the problem most of the time—though it rarely works in the long run. Appreciate the assistance!
