I have an Asus Z97 Pro Wifi motherboard. I am installing the Intel gigabit driver (LAN driver). during installation, under install features, there is an option to install Intel Network Connections SNMP Agent . The description of this feature says "Enables sending event notices using Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). Requires that the Microsoft SNMP service be installed." 1) What is this? 2) Do I need this? I intend to play games on this pc, work via typical programs like Word, Excel, powerpoint, a lot of web browsing, programming through Visual Studio or other IDEs.
