It happens that my computer shuts down completely during window transitions.
Switching windows on my PC causes the screen to fade black for 1-5 minutes. It seems to happen when a video is playing inside the window. Two cases stand out: once after clicking assassin's creed shadows on Steam, and another when opening a YouTube video in Chrome. From the desktop, clicking a video also triggers the blackout effect. I've also noticed every game loads at 720p despite my system specs. I recently reinstalled graphics drivers and updated to the latest Nvidia driver. The issue persists, and I've checked Event Viewer but no event is logged. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 7600X with an RTX 4070, 32GB RAM, and a Hisense 4K monitor via HDMI. I've never experienced this before.
