the system experiences occasional restarts while operating. the event viewer displays only a reboot notification. when inspecting critical alerts, a previous crash occurred during a stress test using prime95. it may be related to overheating, possibly needing a new CPU cooler. the thermal paste appears low quality and cheap, which might not support the processor well. i’m considering switching to an NT-H1 cooler. currently, the machine is idle with hwinfo active; if it restarts again, it could indicate thermal throttling issues requiring a cooler replacement. this problem started after adding the GPU, so it’s not the GPU itself. the issue persisted even after a clean Windows install and driver reinstallation. a frozen screen was reported before the fix, but after rebooting, it booted into BIOS without windows. the SSD isn’t listed as bootable in BIOS, though it appeared in NVMe settings and passed a self-test. previous crashes involved unexpected store exceptions and a faulty storage driver dump. could my drive be defective? also, the ADATA GAMMIX SSDs are known to have reliability concerns.

Contacted Microsoft support; they identified the issue as an incorrect Intel RST driver in the dump file and resolved it. Problem resolved, ongoing monitoring in place.

didn't succeed, think it might be a faulty wifi adapter, planning to replace it next week

What are the internal temperatures during standby? It might be due to a bad power supply unit. I experienced the same issue before.
