It ended up in an unusual manner...
It functioned properly for a while before suddenly stopping. The keyboard lit up but the screen remained off, and activity indicators flashed as if it were asleep. Trying to connect to an external display and use keyboard commands didn’t help, and the caps lock stayed locked. I attempted the razer’s method of holding the power button and unplugging the cable, which also failed. After opening the machine with screwdrivers and removing the battery and storage, it still didn’t respond when connected to wall power without either. It seems there might be an issue beyond a dead RAM chip or motherboard problem. Is there anything else you should consider?
