Hi, sorry if this has been requested before but I couldn't locate anything similar in the forums. While I power on for a few minutes in idle mode, my computer crashes occasionally, sometimes with the screen flickering black before the crash. In safe mode, everything works perfectly, and it runs smoothly for several hours.

Here are my system details:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900x 12core
- Motherboard: X570 Gaming X version 1.1
- RAM: Two 16GB DDR4 sticks from Corsair Vengeance
- Power supply: ToughPower Grand 750W
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
- Operating system: Windows 10

I've tried reinstalling Windows multiple times, updated my BIOS to the latest version, reconfigured components on the motherboard, and relocated RAM and GPU. I ran MemTest86 with no errors and uninstalled GPU drivers using DDU. Any assistance would be very helpful—I'm really struggling at this point and unsure how to proceed.

I've attached links to my two most recent dump files.

The only advice I can give, despite your mention of multiple reinstalls, is to reinstall again, but first clear the drive by wiping it. Remove all partitions from the drive prior to installation. Have you done this before?

When you're in the installation section, if it prompts you about installation, simply remove all existing partitions or follow the recommended method. There isn't a specific required procedure for this step.

Have a USB containing your MB drivers ready, prepared for installation when Windows reaches the desktop. I don't know much about your GPU or MB, but if your MB includes built-in video, take out the GPU before reinstalling Windows. Install it only after Windows is fully set up and all drivers are current.

It seems my CPU isn't compatible with onboard graphics, so I'll need to use the GPU connected. I plan to reinstall now and let you know the outcome.

I followed your instructions carefully, and after a fresh installation I experienced a crash once (KernalDataInpageError) during the Cortana setup. So far, aside from a few Windows update errors (code 0x800706be), I haven’t encountered any crashes. It’s quite late now, so I plan to try installing Windows again tomorrow. Just let me know if this resolves the issue and you can help me out.

Review Event Viewer for the logs during the crash time, not required to reinstall Windows at this point.

I finally managed to get back online after about an hour of normal use—downloading programs or watching a YouTube video. It hasn’t crashed yet, which is unusual since every time I reinstalled it the problem persisted. I believe a previous clean install helped, as I had previously deleted my partitions and not updated my MB drives on a flash drive afterward. Thank you for your assistance; this forum is really helpful with great people.
