I haven't played Fallout 3, but I enjoyed New Vegas and am currently exploring Fallout 4. The Brotherhood of Steel isn't very well known to me. While walking around the airship, I noticed a group of kids called "Squires." Their attire reminded me a lot of the Hitler Youth—gray or black uniforms and hats. The Brotherhood frequently mentions removing Ghouls and Mutants (cleansing) from the world, as confirmed by the Illuminati.

All the experts agreed. It seems they’re mainly focused on eliminating the Feral Ghouls and Super Mutants because they’re the ones causing fear in people.
