Your system has a 128GB SSD and a 2TB HDD. I'm not sure if Windows Defender scans both drives by default or just the SSD when it's enabled. If you want it to check both, you'll need to set it up manually. To configure it, open Windows Defender, choose the drives you want scanned, and enable the scan option. Follow the prompts to complete the setup.

It performs quick periodic checks on its own. It doesn't inspect every area, focusing mainly on common spots for malware and viruses, especially the C:/ drive. To scan all drives, enable "custom" and press "scan now," then choose the drives you wish to examine. A full scan will cover everything, but you can exclude specific areas using the custom settings.
